The tire cleaner and my horsehair brush are a fantastic combination. My truck's tires has a nice layer of Midwest Winter and brake dust on them. The WD Tire Cleaner, plus a little scrubbing made my sidewalls look about as new as they could look.
I do a lot of detailing in my off time and I’ve tried a lot of tire cleaners. Most notably CARPRO ReTyre, which has long been a leader in the professional market and my go-to. Not only is that product more expensive, but it doesn’t work as well as WD’s.
My wife is a resident physician and drives from the suburbs outside of Philly to Camden, New Jersey every day seven days a week. Her 2023 Kia Sportage sees a lot of abuse from that and paired with the fact that we have two kids under 6. Most recently, I haven’t been able to clean her car for at least six months, and her tires had a lot of buildup/blooming. The first round got the majority of the buildup, and with the second round the foam was all white - and the tires had a fresh satin appearance. Worked well enough that even my five-year-old son did a great job. Well done WD. This will be the only tire cleaner I purchase from now.
Only recommendation I’d make is to possibly use a foaming sprayer head, since the foam has better coverage and stays in place. I got around this by putting it in my IK Foam Pro2.
I couldn’t believe how well this product works! Sprayed it on my tires and without much effort scrubbed the tires with a brush and off came a lot of dirt. My tires look new again without much work.
First tire cleaner I’ve ever bought that actually works and cleans really fast. Don’t hesitate to get some.
You can't go wrong with this tire cleaner. Spray it on and a light brushing and watch the dirt rinse away
